Karen's Blog

Start homeschooling and the richness of life is multiplied. So are its cares. To encourage the homeschool mother toward love, duty, and joy, Karen Andreola created a blog spot. Here she shares her interpretations of the writings of Miss Charlotte Mason (1842-1923). She offers relevant ideas on living “the educational life” with children.

Visit “Moments with Mother Culture” and you will find various topics related to motherhood, homemaking and teaching. Poke about until you find a topic that speaks to you most directly.

Karen invites you to take part in Mother Culture, to refresh the weary soul. Mother Culture will renew your strength for those every-day-tasks, both large and small. The advantages of Mother Culture overflow into the family circle.

Stop by and say hello to Karen. There is much she’d like to share with you.

homeschoolingf all the charming customs of yesteryear that threaten to pass into oblivion, I have tried to keep that of afternoon tea. Various friends squeeze through the cracks of their hectic schedules to pop 'round for a cup and a chat. Just one hour has a wonderful way of weaving together the fabric of friendship. The focal point of conversation is usually that of home teaching and domestic life. This is the focal point of homeschoolingHomeschool Highlights. Although not a chat room, I have tried to make Homeschool Highlights a friendly place where you are invited to pop 'round to join me at a table set with a warm pot of practical ideas, advice and encouragement. The kind of refreshment I offer is meant to be a pick-me-up for all those wishing to live the educational life they have imagined. Guest writers, as well as students who had been home taught through high school, have contributed articles along with my own. Homeschool Highlights is also a convenient place to find product reviews written by the Andreola family.
Sincerely,

homeschooling
